Robinia wood is characterized by its above-average resilience under dynamic stress. The wood is heavy and hard. For example, the strength values are significantly higher than those of oak. Robinia is one of the few types of wood of non-tropical origin with durability classes 1 to 2 according to DIN-EN 350-2. The heartwood has a high resistance to insects and fungi. The areas of application are diverse and extend from playground construction to gardening and landscaping to fence construction.
